Are you feeling stressed with the end of the school year coming? Let go of the pressures and stresses of being a high school student! Teen Yoga classes incorporate a more adult approach to yoga poses, breath and relaxation. Through discussion, mindful activities and concentration techniques, deeper explanations of yoga concepts are explored in a supportive and fun atmosphere. Classes introduce some more complicated poses, but the main focus is on relaxation and releasing stress through restorative and gentle yoga. Yoga helps to develop focus and self-control, while giving exercise to all systems of the body. No prior yoga experience required.
Pre-registration is required - 5 full series participants needed to run the program.
Dates: Sundays - May 13, 20, 27 from 12:30 - 1:30 pm
Cost: $30 for the full session, $12 for each individual session
