Our 4th women's group ride of the season will hit one of CT's best mountain biking locations: Rockland Bike Park in Madison!

Level: Intermediate

Rockland Preserve
parking off of Durham Rd.

The trails at Rockland have a little bit of everything - there are a lot of obstacles to challenge, but also a lot of established ride arounds for those who are not ready for a specific obstacle. It is up and down - so expect to climb some throughout the entire ride - but you are rewarded by groomed, flowy, fun down hills. These are probably some of the best marked trails in the area, and because they’re directional it is very difficult to get lost here (not that we leave anyone behind). We will put together a 7-9 mile loop for rides are Rockland, because of the hidden elevation (you don’t always realize how much you’re climbing), the length of the ride and the more technical sections of trail this is a intermediate/advanced level ride.

Wheels roll at 8:00 am

What to bring:
Mountain Bike
Flat Kit

Eye Protection
Full Finger Gloves
Cycling Shorts
