#var:page_name# cover

Sunday April 22, 6-9 pm, we close the doors of Sky Gym to Open them to the LGBTQIA community!

Come play for 3 hours! Early is better so you can do warmups with us!

I will be facilitating a free monthly playshop for anyqueers that want to play and train or practice together. Circus artists, burlesque performers, dancers, musicians, flow artists, producers, costumers, makeup artists, drag performers, lighting techs, photographers, videographers, storytellers, are all part of a circus! So come and play, learn, grow, and develop something with us!
Anyone who is lgbtqia identified is welcome.
You do not have to have a circus skill to join us.
We will create safe space and play games that teach us how to tell authentic stories with movement and other means, we can communally share skills, healthy snacks, massage trade, and make music. Play alone or in groups, buy there will always be some sort of group activity, physical or mental, always be some teachers, and there will always be an available audience or witness.
Let's build an Atlanta based community of creative queers!

There have been about 30 people each time!
Aerial, choreographed dance, juggling, unicycle, handstands, acro, harness flying, and other fun has been happening. We play games together and bring snacks. I'd love to add mini sessions of massage and yoga! Or talks.

Please reach out to others and share this invitation. Please make an extra effort to offer transportation (I live next to the buckhead Marta station if you need a ride). Please invite a diverse range of people, age, ability, body type, skin color. And please know that this is a leave no Trace event. We will have the entire gym to ourselves. It includes a yoga and dance studio, and two aerial studios with 21-25' rigging. 26' ceilings and two gender neutral bathrooms.
