Ladies and gentlemen, tandems, sport jumpers, old jumpers, new jumpers and everyone in between:
Please join Skydive Milwaukee for a witches and wizards themed weekend, intended to honor our Sisters in Skydiving (SIS) group. We will have belly jumps organized by the Women's Skydiving Leadership Network's Courtney Lee, and there will be plenty of fun jumps as well. Stay tuned for more detailed event information, but be sure to mark yourself as attending! There will be goody bags and a raffle as well.
The WSLN FS program is ideal for anyone with 300 jumps or less but is a great opportunity for all licensed jumpers. The event will be full of FREE coaching by Courtney Lee of Skydive Chicago and the Women's Skydiving Leadership Network!
This is a fun opportunity to improve your belly skills and boost your confidence in the sky. Each day will involve a series of explanations, demonstrations, and exercises directed by Courtney. Participants will be grouped together with Elizabeth plus 2-3 others for each jump (expect 8-12 jumps total). Coaching is completely free, all you need to do is cover your boogie registration and jump slots!
Day 1, Basic Flying Skills (Ideal for 100 jumps or less) : Day 1 of the WSLN FS Program will focus on the basic skills required for doing small formation work. Most of the jumps will be small 2-3 ways focusing on making correct movements. You’ll learn basic exit principles, 2-way formations, and how to prepare a skydive correctly.
Day 2, Fundamentals of FS (Ideal for 300 jumps or less) :
Day 2 of the WSLN FS Program curriculum is designed to step-up your FS skill set. Courtney will discuss and reinforce the fundamentals of formation skydiving such as looking, slot flying & stopping. You’ll execute drills to improve your basic skill set plus dig deeper into why each of the simple FS techniques are so effective. You’ll learn more complex linked exits, common 3-4 way formations, how to design your own successful skydives, and how to take your prep up a notch.
At the end of camp Courtney will host an open forum to answer questions and provide information on how to pursue your personal FS goals (4-way, big-ways, fun jumps, etc.).
