The All-Electric Home: Alternatives to fossil fuel gas & wood this winter

Presenter Tim Forcey will discuss how high-efficiency electric heat pumps for space heating, cooling, water heating and clothes drying are the future for the environment and our hip pockets.

Smart Living Ballarat's free sustainability workshops are hosted at the Ballarat Central Library, 178 Doveton Street North. They run every 3rd Wednesday of the month. This workshop is on Wednesday, 18th April. 12.30pm to 1.30pm. No booking required.

Tim has 35 years of industrial experience (electricity, oil and gas, petrochemicals) with focus on energy production, transmission and consumption. Past employers & clients include Exxon Mobil, BHP, Jemena, the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), Moreland Energy Foundation - Positive Charge, University of Melbourne Energy Institute (MEI), and the Australian-German College of Climate and Energy at the University of Melbourne.
