Program reserved first for students enrolled in Sol Yoga 300hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training and open to other yoga teachers and wellness practitioners if space available. $1450, $1200 if enrolled in YTT 300 2018 or are a recent graduate.
This 100 hour module satisfies requirements for Part B of Advanced Yoga Teacher Training and includes these trainings:
Part 1: Introduction to the Art of Touch (8hrs) Saturday or Sunday, February 17 or 18, 9-6pm.
So natural and essential to life, touch is an incredible tool of healing and connection when used with kindness and compassion. Open to anyone, this joyful day of discovery will reveal and hone your power of touch and increase your confidence. Learn practical, uncomplicated techniques and simple principles. Excellent for couples, individuals, yoga teachers or health and wellness professionals. This course is a solid foundation for all beginners who have never done massage. And for those who already have experience, you will deepen your approach to touch. $149

Part 2 & 3: Meditation in Motion: Thai Yoga Massage 1 & 2 (81hrs)
This 9 day module merges Thai yoga massage training with daily yoga practice + hands on assisting. This combination provides you the qualifications to offer a full 2 hour Thai Yoga Massage or infuse the techniques into your own offerings. You will explore the use of meditation, pranayama and asana to cultivate presence, for connection and potency as a yoga teacher, bodyworker or wellness professional. In addition to learning a complete sequence of traditional Thai massage plus additional advanced sequences and techniques, you will learn about acupressure, traditional Thai lines of energy, dynamic movements, transitions, hand sensitivity and intuition, practitioner presence, and how to enhance the massage to the specific needs of the client. Yoga will be practiced daily as a way to integrate the experience as well as heighten your sensitivity as a practitioner. Hands on assists will be infused during classes and practiced on and by trainees. **This is part 2 & 3 of a 4 part program. These sections (2 & 3 together) can be taken independently if space is available for $1200 or $995 for Sol members. Part 4: Integrated Touch for Yoga Teachers
Apply your knowledge of touch to group classes, workshops and private clients in a mindful, ethical way. Learn partner & acro yoga techniques, practice hands on assisting, discuss the ethics of touch and learn techniques to integrate your skills into group classes (20 hrs – 5 non contact) - July 27-29. Friday 7-9pm, Saturday 12-8p, Sunday 10-3pm. (fri 7-9pm, sat 12-8, sun 10-3) $295
