This exciting new series offers families a unique opportunity to meet renowned children’s book illustrators and learn about their creative processes. At each event, a featured illustrator will participate in a book reading and give a presentation about his or her artwork and practice. Following the reading, families will create their own works of art inspired by the book and its illustrations. Each ticket also includes a complimentary copy of the book, which will be signed at the event by the illustrator.

Four-time Caldecott Honor recipient Bryan Collier is a beloved illustrator known for his unique artistic style, which combines watercolor and collage. Join Collier for a reading and discussion of Between the Lines, his latest picture book about NFL-star-turned-artist, Ernie Barnes, whose work influenced a generation of painters and illustrators.
