Mindful Moments in Meditation is about Living Your Life in Peace and Freedom no matter what is going on in the world outside of you. In this 2 hour workshop we will explore what it would feel like to quiet your noisy mind. We will look at our mind and discover how it filters everything we react to. We will look at our breath and show how it links you to your body and your mind. We will do some simple stretches (yoga postures) to see how these movements will further your ability to let go of some of that noise in your head. We will then do a complete relaxation to lighten the stress and tension we have. From there we will see what meditation is and isn’t, what science says about it and how it affects you. Last, we will learn how that by using a simple process, your meditation can be easier to begin which in turn will make it easier for you to just sit.
