This workshop aims to assist your understanding regarding professional reports from educational psychologists, occupational therapists & speech and language therapists.
It will cover include how to:
understand the key tests and questionnaires involved
what the recommendations mean and the impact for the child
interpret independent and local authority reports
learn about specialist speech and language teachers in the classroom
how the curriculum can be differentiated for children with speech & language difficulties
the importance of exam access to resources
assessments for dyslexia and teaching methods
how to make links with the school re: monitoring progress &
what questions you need to ask teachers and professionals about speech and language difficulties.
