Yin & Yoga Nidra

Join Rachel Cowan for an afternoon cultivating inner connection, healing, and restful rejuvenation! Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness, is an ancient practice intended to induce full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness. The 90-minute class will begin with restorative Yin postures to prepare the body for rest and settle any muscular tensions. Thereafter, your body will be cradled in a fully supported Savasana pose, limbs limp, breath quiet, thoughts drifting by. Guided meditation takes you on a journey traveling beyond the body and mind space to the peaceful beyond. All traces of the day will fade away and stillness washes over you in a blanket of peace.
