The Southwest Harbor Public Library will host poet Gary Rainford on Tuesday, April 3, 5:30 – 7 p.m. Gary will discuss and perform poems from his new book, Liner Notes, which showcases 64 musicians as artists making music—covering multiple genres with the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Bjork, Lemmy Kilmister, Philip Glass, George Michael, Richie Havens, Billie Holiday, Jeff Buckley, David Byrne, just to name a few. In addition, Gary will provide a set-list of musicians celebrated in his collection and take reading requests from the audience. Books will be available for purchase.
