We are delighted to be offering our practical GDPR seminar free of charge. This session will tell you what the legal ramifications are of GDPR and will act as a practical guide.
James Rann, Chief Executive of Warrens Law and Advocacy will be providing an introduction into GDPR. Warren’s Law and Advocacy is a law firm offering a broad range of specialist legal services including Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution, Criminal Litigation, Family and Divorce, Conveyancing and Real Estate, Private Client, Equine and Motoring Law. Solicitors in each of our offices in Eastbourne, Brighton and London offer a comprehensive range of legal services for you and your business.
Astec computing will be explaining what GDPR means for your computer system and how the systems already embedded in computer packages may be able to assist.
Emma Pearce from Pearce Marketing will give practical advice for meeting GDPR requirements with your marketing. For example, how to gain the correct consent (and identify what is still permitted from a ‘sales’ perspective), give guidance on the records you must keep, advise on training staff and the agreements you need in place with your data processors.
There will be no charge for the seminar, however we do ask that you purchase a drink from the bar. Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club have very kindly offered us the venue free of charge. Please also note, that if you book and fail to attend, a non-attendance fee of £10 will be charged.
