Learn step by step how to master the perfectly balanced and consistent handstand with Bristol Handstands.

We will teach you step by step;

Basic handstand anatomy including body checklists, hand positioning and external rotation understanding
Shoulder prehab and injury prevention exercises
An introduction to ‘The Handstand Pillars’ which includes:
• Specific strength
• Alignment
• Endurance
• Consistency
• Mobility and Flexibility related to Handbalance

FLEXIBILITY

In each class you will be doing focused work on each area of the body including legs, frontwards bending, backwards bending, shoulder flexibility, extremities etc

We will be helping you locate limitations within in the body so that you are able to learn to address and isolate those areas of weakness, stiffness, immobility or dysfunction

You will learn how to increase maximum flexibility in a minimal amount of time and everyone will have the opportunity to request and work on specific goals and objectives

-Correct, safe techniques and exercises that you can do at home
-All round flexibility training including static, dynamic, active and ballistic
-Detailed partner stretching including PIR and PNF techniques
-Over split training and breathing techniques
-Injury prevention
-Strength, core and endurance exercises to balance out your stretching
-Guiding you through tools and props to aid and enhance your stretching experience
-Massage techniques for those stressful work loads!

An acro flyer, sports therapist, professional handstand coach and teacher (of teachers) Semi-Pro comedy champion and BPC 3rd place 2016. Gabby is the Founder of Bristol Handstands.
