This practice is incredibly powerful in maintaining optimal functioning of the body’s systems, critical in cleansing the body and warding off illness and disease, as well as physically strengthening. Hatha Yoga also puts great focus on the health of the lungs and heart through various breathing techniques that will transform the way we experience activities in our daily life in addition to how well our bodies can adapt to changes that come our way. Then there are the emotional and spiritual benefits, as an ongoing yoga practice can greatly nurture focus of the mind and increased memory, reduce anxiety, balance out emotional extremes, produce consistent sleep patterns, and encourage true self control of the mind and breath.
All are welcome, all levels of experience. Each class is different and allows you to learn your body, breath, mind, etc.
