Come explore working with hypertufa cement to create trough planters for an herbal fairy garden. These containers look like old Irish troughs and are wonderful for outside planters. If you are not yet aware of the presence and benefits of attracting faeries to a garden, we will also be discussing the Earth magick they impart! They are excellent plant companions. This is part 1 of making the fairy gardens. The planters take a while to dry, so we will meet to fill the planters the following month.
What to Bring:
- a cardboard shoe box (I have some extras, message Brit Brennan if you need one)
- a heavy duty plastic trash can liner
- playtex dish washing gloves (latex thin gloves will not hold up to the caustic properties of the cement)
The rest of the supplies will be provided for $12.00 per person.
Call, message or email Jeannie Muetz Francis or Brit Brennan for reservations and address. This will be held at a private residence. This is an 18+ event.
