Harry Leonard and Paul Hill will again be running the Men’s League this year. We have decided to keep the league format the same as it was last year, namely traditional match-play format, with 4-man teams. 9-hole play will begin on Monday, May 7 and will occur every other Monday evening starting at 5:45 PM and conclude on August 20 unless we have a rainout to make up. We are planning to use the same competition rules which means we will use your GHIN handicap to determine if you get or give a stroke on x number of holes. We will alternate between front nine and back nine each week. It is suggested that each team have a minimum of 5 members to ensure that full teams will be available each league night to conduct the team contests. The player sitting out can be a substitute for another team if needed; this format helps to cover vacations, etc.

A description of the league, an outline of the rules, and a sign-up sheet will be posted on the bulletin board in the lower level Grill Room for everyone who would like to play and would like to be assigned to a team or be available as a substitute.
League play can be a lot of fun and a great opportunity to meet other members of our Club and Match Play is a great format! Consider joining a team and playing this year, particularly if you have never had the opportunity to play league golf in the past. We are again planning to have food available for purchase after golf.
