DECEMBER 6 – 22, 2018
(Dates listed may change as we get closer)
By You (and other Colorado Springs Playwrights)

This festival of original works will be by you and other playwrights.
Tell us what the Holidays mean to you with your original shorts plays, scenes, and monologues.

Submissions are now open! Deadline to submit is July 31.

Join us for Springs Ensemble Theatre’s Holiday show this year, written by the greatest playwright ever….YOU! We invite you to submit your very best holiday or winter themed monologues, group pieces, or short scenes to be performed December 6-22, 2018, as part of SET’s IndyGive! fundraising efforts.

SET is looking for diverse holiday stories and experiences to bring to the stage. Awkward, sentimental, honest, irreverent, heartwarming, bleak, silly, sweet, outrageous, twisted, and horrific stories are ALL WELCOME. What do the holidays mean to you?

The details:

--Submissions are open to writers in the Pikes Peak Region.
--Pieces should be 1-10 minutes each -- that’s about 1-12 pages -- requiring minimal props/scenery.
--All music submitted or utilized in a piece should be either in the public domain or the rights acquired prior to submission.
--You may submit more than one piece, but please only submit one piece per email.
--Previously produced pieces are acceptable. Please include production history if applicable.
--All pieces must be submitted by midnight MST, July 31, 2018.
--Please submit via email to SETplaysubmissions@gmail.com as an attachment -- .pdf, .doc, and .docx formats are acceptable.
--Along with your submission, please send your name, full mailing address, telephone number, and a 150 word bio.
