Our 2018 CSA customers are invited to learn together some kitchen cooking skills! We'll gather for an evening and one of our local chefs or home ec instructors will spend a couple hours teaching us knife skills, blanching/freezing techniques, easy pickling processes, etc. to help us maximize the nutrition and value of being part of a CSA farm.
The farm will rent the Sprout kitchens in Little Falls, and we'll host a nice casual social for ourselves while we learn together.
We are planning far in advance! It's on the CSA calendar for next season. We are open to suggestions and feedback about events like this. Please let the farm know if you have requests for skills you want to develop or knowledge you want to learn. We've had some customers suggest a class on drying herbs properly and we'll work on pulling that together.
