Part of a biweekly series of group meditation sessions at Square Bean Carlisle. In this session, we will look at how meditation can transform the way we search for happiness. Insights from modern science and psychology indicate the truth of the Buddhist view that humans have an innate tendency to be perpetually dissatisfied. However, meditative practice can lead us toward a lasting serenity that is far deeper than the fleeting gratification we often cling to. "Meditation and the Spiritual Journey" includes presentations and discussions on contemplative spirituality, as well as guided meditations and time for silence.
