Alumna and healthcare executive Sahra Noor M'00, '02 will speak on the topic ""Nurse to CEO: Saying 'Yes' to Opportunities and Responding to Challenges."
Noor is an award-winning bilingual healthcare executive with 15 + years of experience leading innovative programs, developing resources, and creating collaborative work environments that cultivate trust, foster accountability and promote growth. She enjoys working at the intersection of public health, community development, and public policy and has a reputation as an influential leader and advocate who builds power with people, not over them. Noor holds an associate's degree and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from St. Catherine University and a master’s degree in nursing and health systems administration from the University of Minnesota. In addition to her work as the CEO of People's Center Health Services, she's a member of Young American Leaders Program (YALP) at Harvard Business School. Noor is active in the community and sits on several nonprofit boards.
