Prayer is about expressing and growing in your thirst for God. So are you thirsty?
Our whole-church prayer night is a unique gathering of both our 10am and 5pm congregations, joining voices in prayer to our great God. Join us for an evening of focused prayer, through song, prayers led from the front, and prayer in small groups.
This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to unite in prayer as a church, to ask that God's power and presence will be known in our lives, in the life of our church, and to pray for the spread of his kingdom. Without him we are nothing. But when his Spirit is at work, Christ is honoured, sin is abandoned, the Word is cherished, truth reigns, and love for God and neighbour grows. That's what we long to see happening more and more.
Because we don't want you to miss this important event, Connect Groups will be cancelled during the week of the prayer night.
(Some Christians have found that abstaining from food, or 'fasting', is a helpful practice in order to focus on prayer. If you would find this helpful, and are not prevented from fasting by medical or other reasons, you may like to fast during the day leading up to the prayer meeting.
