Dr. Jeremy Begbie returns to St. George's through our partnership with Duke Initiatives in Theology and the Arts.

About Duke Initiatives in Theology and the Arts
Since 2016 St. George’s has collaborated with the Duke Initiatives in Theology and the Arts (DITA) at Duke University Divinity School as a part of our ongoing quest to dig deeper into the connection between faith and art.

Established in 2009 under the leadership of Professor Jeremy Begbie, DITA has a rich history in teaching, research, and promoting some of the most distinguished artists and theologians alive today.

St. George’s continues to benefit from this collaboration in many ways—including our recent Marc Chagall art show. Upcoming events include a visit from Jeremy Begbie in April where he will preach and teach, visits from renowned poet Malcom Guite and C.S. Lewis Scholar Michael Ward this fall. This winter we will display works from Sadao Watanabe throughout our church—something made possible only through a relationship with DITA.
