Myths are among the most powerful and fundamental in storytelling tradition. In this special collaboration between the St. Louis Storytelling Festival, Maturity and Its Muse and St. Louis Artists' Guild, we present GRUPO ATLANTICO , ST LOUIS MO in this special program that will blend words, movement and music by way of poetry and storytelling, bringing to audiences a myth of the Wayuu Indigenous group of the Guajira peninsula of Colombia and Western Venezuela.

Join us at 10:30 am to explore the Artists' Guild's new exhibition "Clearly Human III", and meet with members of Grupo Atlantico before the program begins at 11 am. The storytelling will be followed by a poem highlighting the tri-ethnicity of Columbia's best-known dance, the cumbia.

Join us for this FREE, fun, interactive and informative storytelling event!
