Working in partnership with the Stonetown Grans, join us for “Downstairs, Upstairs” and hear about the unconventional and adventurous life of Jean Alice Rowcliffe.
Jean grew up in London, Ontario and at 17 moved to London, England to work in Buckingham Palace. Graduating head nurse from the prestigious Norland College, Jean worked as a nursery nurse for the likes of Their Royal Highnesses Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and author Danielle Steel before opening The Village Well, a community resource centre in San Francisco. Join Jean as she recounts tales of her time with the Royals and beyond.
The event will be held in the Town Hall Auditorium on Saturday, May 12 at 2:00 pm. Tickets for this event are $20.00 in advance or $25.00 at the door (if available).
