Experience Pietra Fitness®…A fitness class that stretches, strengthens and tones the body while refreshing the soul with Christian prayer and meditation in the Catholic tradition. In only one hour you will feel calmer, stronger, refreshed and renewed!

This class is for women only, and offers both Gentle and Level 1 class.

The calm & relaxing Gentle workout is appropriate for a wide range of ages and abilities. It is done on a floor mat and incorporates both floor work and standing exercises with slow transitions. The peaceful pace and movements gently promote strength, flexibility, and improved balance.

Level I revitalizes your body and soul with a combination of floor work, standing exercises, and balancing postures. The transitions between floor and mat-work are quicker and more frequent than in the Gentle class, and strengthening postures may be held for longer periods of time. Level I classes are designed to leave you feeling strong, relaxed, and invigorated.

Participants should bring a floor mat or towel to use during the class. If you have difficulty sitting cross legged on the floor, you may also want to bring a blanket or towel to sit on.

Monday morning classes are ongoing at St. Patrick in St. Charles.
