EVENT // As a Christian School, St Paul’s is committed to the Christian faith, shaping and impacting all that we do. However, for some of our parents, what that Christian faith is may be confusing or simply unknown. There may be curiosity about what students are taught in Christian Studies or in Chapel.
St Paul's would like to offer parents the opportunity to hear what is at the core of Christian faith and to know what we believe as a Christian School. In partnership with Glenmore Park Anglican Church, we are pleased to offer parents the opportunity to take part in a ‘Christianity Explained’ course.
The course will consist of four one-hour sessions, which will be spread across four consecutive weeks. These sessions will cover who Jesus is, along with His death and resurrection. It will also explain what a Christian is, and how people become Christians. It will consider questions regarding forgiveness, grace and eternal life. The course will also provide the opportunity for people to ask questions about the Christian faith.
We are offering parents the option of a day time or night time course:
• Wednesday mornings at 10am, commencing on May 9. (Childcare will be included in this option if needed).
• Thursday evenings at 7pm, commencing on May 10.
The course will be run by Reverend John Lavender from Glenmore Park Anglican Church. There is no cost. Refreshments will be provided.
Please RSVP (including your session preference) to Katy Whale at email@example.com or on 02 4776 4942.
For further details about the course, please contact our School Chaplain, Mr James Grady on 02 4776 4713 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
