Divine Mercy Sunday Service
April 8th at 3:00pm in the Church
This devotion to Jesus of the Divine Mercy had its origin in Poland and since 2000 has been celebrated annually around the world on the first Sunday after Easter at the direction of Pope St. John Paul II.
At the devotional service we will recite the Chaplet of Mercy prayers, which were passed on by Jesus in visions to St. Faustina. Jesus asked St. Faustina to perpetuate His message of His Divine Mercy and the prayers of the Chaplet. Bring your Rosary beads, which will be used for reciting the prayers. We will also have Benediction and some quiet time for adoration. Everyone is invited to attend (including children old enough to hold beads). This will be a joint service with the Hispanic community.
