What do Thomas Jefferson, Karl Marx and Gandhi have in common?
One. They were all men (that was easy).
Two. None of them would have called themselves a follower of Jesus.
Three. All three considered Jesus’ words in the sermon on the mount as the best teaching to follow to get life right — in other words, they are 'words to live by'.
We're going to be looking at those 'words to live by' at our evening services between 8th April and the summer, finding out what makes them so special and what relevance they have for us today. You are really welcome to come along.
Doors open at 6:00pm when tea and coffee is available before the service starts at 6:30pm, finishing at approximately 8:00pm. Parking is available in Waterloo Road Car Park. Once the car park is full there is plenty of local on-street parking available.
