St. Stephen’s Holy Week Schedule:

Sunday, 18 March: Passion Sunday: Holy Communion , 8:30 a.m.; Choral Holy Communion, 10:30 a.m. Veiling of the Crosses and Icons.

Sunday, 25 March: Palm Sunday: Holy Communion , 8:30 a.m.; Choral Holy Communion, 10:30 a.m. Blessing and Procession of the Palms; St. Matthew's Passion.

Wednesday, 28 March: Wednesday in Holy Week. Stations of the Cross followed by Holy Communion, 6:00 p.m. St. Luke's Passion.

Thursday, 29 March: Maundy Thursday. Holy Communion: 6:00 p.m. Celebration of the Last Supper and Institution of the Eucharist; Jesus in the Garden (procession to the altar of repose); stripping of the altar and emptying of the tabernacle.

Friday, 30 March: Good Friday. 12 Noon, Good Friday Liturgy, and Mass of the Presanctified, Meditations on the Passion, and the Solemn Collects.

Saturday, 31 March: Holy Saturday. 6:00 p.m. Blessing of the new fire and of the Paschal Candle with the singing of the Exultet; Litany of the Saints; and Evensong.

Sunday, 1April: Easter Day. Holy Communion, 8:00 a.m.; Choral Holy Communion, 10:30 a.m. Celebration of the Resurrection and the New Creation. He is Risen!

Please note: Easter Week observances are many and demanding. They are also spiritually deepening and rewarding. Come when you can and leave whenever you need to. The more you can attend, the more you will be blessed. Easter Sunday, of course, is considered a day of Obligation.
