This workshop will teach the Korean traditional quilt making technique of Bojagi; a reversible quilt which is usually used for blinds and wrapping cloths using sheer or lightweight fabrics. The designs are geometric and are hundreds of years old yet hold a contemporary look similar to Abstract Expressionism. These textiles particularly come to life when backlit by a window or light.

The workshop will focus on hand sewing to bring together geometric shapes which can be added to at home or in future workshops.

All materials provided.
