The Stony Brook community has continued to remain resilient and unwavering in times of adversity and divisiveness.
The Undergraduate Student Government and the Muslim Students' Association cordially invites you to take part in a prayer ring of solidarity toward people of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds on April 13th on the Staller Steps. Muslims hold Friday to be the holiest day of the week and perform a special prayer around noon. In light of the recent political climate, the SBU MSA intends to hold the Friday prayer, called Jummah, at the Staller Steps to inform the greater campus community about common Muslim practices. A guest Alumni speaker will deliver the traditional weekly sermon and lead the prayer at 1:30 PM.
This event is open to everyone, so we urge you to invite your friends, classmates, and colleagues!
