Puppy training walk – for puppies aged 4 to 12 months
Saturday 21st April at 12 midday.
£10 per dog – humans do of course need to accompany their dogs and we welcome extra humans to join in. Payments need to be made in advance to secure your place on the training walk.
Aimed at puppies that are four months to one year old. This group session is aimed at Puppies and owners who want to improve on their social skills and get some valuable hints and tips for learning good manners. There will be an opportunity to look at solving some common problems such as lead pulling and also to talk about practicing recall on a daily basis.
The session will be totally on lead. The walk will start on The Delph in Swad at Stan’s Pals Doggie Deli where there will be short training briefing before taking part in some practical activities. The group will be small so the walk leader and trainer will have time to talk to each person attending giving hints and tips on how to deal with any issues that come up and help with any concerns you have about your puppy.
The walk will end back on the Delph outside our shop and there will be an opportunity to discuss any issues that have been highlighted and how to deal with them for future walks.
Booking is essential and can be done by phoning 07887 638 891 or sending us a message or by calling into our shop. When you book your place you will be advised what you need to bring along with you. Provisional bookings can be made online or by phone, but your place is only confirmed when you make your payment and the easiest way to do this is to pop into our shop.
Dogs must be on lead at all times and under the control of an adult. Children are welcome to join the walk but must be supervised by adults and should not be encouraged to interact with other dogs on the walk without the permission of the owners.
We do walk and train in rain but if the weather is very bad we will postpone and re book an alternative date. Owners will be asked to supply a mobile phone number as we will send a text message to let you know if the weather stops us from holding the training session.
