Everyone loves a luau, but who has the time and money to slingshot across the Pacific Ocean for six hours while three infants behind you reenact scenes from The Exorcist and a large man with three first names whom you were fortunate enough to get sat next to tells you all about his home renovation and marriage to a not-so-distant-relative. It's a hassle to say the least.
What if I told you The Stanislaus Young Farmers and Ranchers are putting on a luau that will bring you all the comforts of an evening spent in Oahu but for only $50??? I know. It's crazy right? We must be losing money hand over fist! The best part about all of this is you don't have to limp back to a crappy hotel on the water after the luau is over, you can sleep in your own bed! Listen. It's a fundraiser and we hope you'll buy a ticket and maybe bid on a dessert so we can make some money to hand out scholarships to local high school seniors, support the community through philanthropic efforts, and fund leadership opportunities for members.
Here's the deal. If you give us $50, we can guarantee you a scrumptious luau-themed meal, full access to our bar (which will be serving cocktails and beer), and a kickin' live band called Gunpowder and Lace will make you dance so hard all the flowers will leap from your Hawaiian leis.
It's a good cause. It's a great time. Space is limited! If you want a ticket, visit the Eventbrite page below or call Caitie Campodonico at (209) 522-7278. Buy yours today!
