♦️Yoga in the Evening♦️
Come join us to Unwind in the Evening 😊
A class for everyone! We encourage all ages, body types and levels of experience (whether you are brand new to yoga or a seasoned yogi). Bring your beautiful selves to StellaLuna this Thursday, and join us for a playful, relaxing and enjoyable yoga practice! We will open up the major areas of our bodies for an all-around great stretch, introduce some strengthening postures, and relieve stress! Modifications and alternative poses will be instructed throughout the class so each of you can give your bodies exactly what they need.
What to Bring:
- Your Yoga mat, if you have one. Mats are sold at StellaLuna and we will have a couple of spare mats to set up.
- A light blanket and/or small pillow - These are optional, but can really enhance your relaxation and provide support for physical discomfort as we move through postures.
- Eye mask - This is also optional, but will also enhance your relaxation at the end of practice.
Class is $10 per person
Sara Gelpke has been teaching yoga for over 3 years. She completed her Basic Yoga Teacher Training with Raji Thron at Yoga Synthesis in New Jersey. Her training explored a wide range of yoga philosophies, as well as meditation, Qi Gong and Ayurveda. Sara also completed a concentrated training for Gentle & Restorative Yoga with Kelly Solloway. This training delved even deeper into yoga for all ages and body types, Chakras, medical contraindications, and breathing techniques to help soften and heal the mind & body in a relaxed environment.
Sara teaches regularly at Bloom Yoga Studio in Southington and Bristol CT Yoga Studio, in addition to privately instructing a few clients in their homes.
Sara hopes that you’ll dare to discover the sanctuary that exists within you, which yoga has illuminated in her own life. Sara is excited to share space to practice yoga with you! "Practice does not mean perfection, it simply means growing and learning from one moment to the next."
