Join us at 2pm for a talk by Edward Badham, whose monumental (48"x72") Glacier series is on view in the exhibition Don't Fence Me In through April 22.
A Birmingham native from a family of notable artists, Edward Badham studied photography at Auburn University and UAB. For over 25-years, Badham's work as a commercial photographer for clients including AT&T and Coca Cola has taken him across the country and around the world, and been featured in publications including Architectural Digest. During his travels he also creates personal works that focus his eye for composition on lush landscapes and figures in the tradition of Harry Callahan and Wynn Bullock.
Badham will discuss his 2017 trip to Iceland, where he worked with models Rebecca Lawrence and Svala to create his Glaciers series.
This event is free and open to the public.
The talk will begin promptly at 2pm.
