Event organized by StevenBe

#var:page_name# cover

Named for his favorite relaxation destination, Steven has declared the Park City Beanie to be his new favorite crochet project. For the impatient crocheter, the Park City beanie works up quickly. Simple cables and an interesting brim technique make this a great next step for those looking to challenge their skills.

This two-session workshop will focus on these crochet techniques:
Magic Circle
Increasing the stitches
Half Double Crochet
Front Post Double Crochet
Back Loop Only
Slip Stitch
Single Crochet

Students will need. a 6.0 mm hook and a 5.5 mm hook. They will need 165 yards of a bulky weight yarn (Our favorite option is Malabrigo Chunky). If they choose to add a pom-pom they will need more yardage...approximately 5 yards, depending on how large they want to make the pom-pom. Otherwise, StevenBe has a fabulous array of fur pom-poms to top the beanie.
This project is perfect for crocheters who are at an intermediate crochet level or above.
