Come make seed balls with the members of the Stone Soup Co-op!
Seed balls are balls made of clay and soil that have seeds of native Illinois plants inside. When they balls dry, you can drop them almost anywhere- your garden, a bus stop, a vacant lot, and they'll plant the seeds as the rain washes away the clay!
Native plants are important to the ecology and nature of a region! They feed the bees, they help prevent flooding, and give the soil nutrients!
Seed balls are super simple to make, appropriate for all ages 5+ so bring the youngin's by! This event is FREE!
Unfortunately, our home is not ADA accessible. However if it is warm outside, we can consider setting up tables in our yard and doing the workshop outside.
