Getting To Know Your Medications
Have you ever wondered what all of your medications are for? Do you feel like you never have enough time to ask questions about your medications? This program will provide information on common medications, their safety, and disposal. We will also discuss key tips and questions to ask your healthcare provider in order to understand your medications. Time will be allotted for audience questions and participation.
Speaker Kathryn Corlett, PharmD is a clinical pharmacist at Western Reserve Hospital. Her areas of practice include internal medicine and transitions of care. Kathryn graduated from Ohio Northern University with a Doctorate of Pharmacy and completed a post-graduate year 1 (PGY1) pharmacy residency at University Hospitals. At Western Reserve Hospital, Dr. Corlett is involved in patient education, discharge, and bridging the gap between inpatient and outpatient healthcare.
