United Nations Youth Association of Denmark (UNYA) is happy to invite you to our event, focused on the topic of gender pay gap and what youth can do to prevent it, on 19 April from 17.30 at Studenterhuset Main Hall in the heart of Copenhagen.
The event is free.
We are excited to present to you our two guest-speakers: Marie Raasthøj Hansen from the Feminist Party (in Danish "Feministisk Initiativ") and Lukas Lunøe from Radikal Ungdom. They will address the gender pay gap issues in Denmark and talk about what we as youth can do to prevent inequality in wages and break gender-based stereotypes.
Here is more about UNYA:
UNYA Denmark is a volunteer-based youth organization in Denmark, dedicated to increasing awareness among youth of international development and humanitarian issues related to the work of the United Nations. Currently, focus is placed in particular on bringing attention and efforts to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the important topics that these issues cover such as equality (gender, nationality, race), human rights, global health, climate action, environment, and more.
Focusing on reaching young adults through events, campaigns and social media, we work in close collaboration with UN entities, such as UN Women, UNEP, UNOPS and UN-City, and are a part of both the Danish United Nations Association (FN-Forbundet) and the global World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) network.
We are looking forward to welcoming you!:)
