Come perform with the McGill Savoy Society in our annual Certainly Not Sullivan Cabaret! Taking place on Thursday April 5th, our theme this year is "A Song of Her Own" - a celebration of works by women lyricists and composers in musical theatre!
Auditions will take place in the SSMU building on McGill's main campus, on Thursday March 15th in room 434 and Friday March 16th in the Lev Bukhman room (203).

You can audition with any English-language song of your choice, either in full or a 1-2 minute excerpt. Below, you will find songs and a Spotify playlist with the pieces being considered for the setlist. We strongly encourage you to audition with a song from this list, or other musical theatre songs written by women!
A pianist will be provided for accompaniment, so please bring your own sheet music, or provide a karaoke track. Sheet music for songs on the setlist may be provided electronically upon request. Self-accompanied and group auditions are also welcome!
We are also audioning for MC's! If interested, please prepare 1-2 minutes of an original (comedic) monologue celebrating women writers in musical theatre.
If you are unable to audition in person, not to worry! You can submit a video audition through email to: email@example.com.
If you have any questions about auditions or the cabaret, feel free to contact producer Marc Ducusin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Savoy Society welcomes auditionees of all genders, ethnicities, ages, abilities, religions, and sexual orientations.
Show us your stuff, we're excited to hear you!
