In May our Saturday Workshop for children will be led by Emilian Lalev - a well-known Bulgarian luthier. Together with him for four hours we will have the possibility to learn how to build string instruments out of scrap.
Emilian Lalev studied Mathematics (1999), Psychology with Pedagogics (2003) and has a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence (2007). He has 3 years of experience as a Psychology researcher and 6 years as a software developer. During all this time he maintained and developed his skills in music instruments' making. He led several guitar making workshops in Dublin, Ireland and since 2009 is settled in Sofia, where he teaches the unique craft of guitar and mandolin making.
Currently, he is one of the best known luthiers in Bulgaria with multiple students and many interesting instrument projects.

The main language of the workshop will be English but Elena Kaludova and Marc Pospiech will be there to help if your child is still a beginner in English, so do not hesitate to enroll the workshop.
