We do not have to just “live” with on-going stress. Learn what is very effective to change our emotional state and physical health.

This Lunch and Learn Event will be presented by Peter Scheer, a nationally certified mental health counselor. He will present an overview of long term stress, its origins, and what we can do about it.

This free, 20 minute presentation is about the mind-body connections of stress, underlying causes, how we cope with stress, how it stays in the body, and what long term stress does to us emotionally and physically.

There will be information about recent research on mindfulness, and how mindfulness is the opposite of stress and has been proven to repair that damage down to the cellular level!

We do not have to just “live” with stress. We do not need to just cope with distress. Learn what kind of actions we can take to change our emotional state and physical health.

A light lunch will be provided.
