Poor Michelle are back at it. As part of our new role as Associate Company at Theatre N16, we are excited to be hosting a very very tiny little 4 night festival featuring loads of our favourite female artists (TBA very soon) AND a very early stages, work in progress performance of our potential new show - DECADE.

We want to examine the evolution of the female voice over the last 10 years, a DECADE that has seen the rise of women-led movements but has also been the site of some fairly disastrous political upheaval. We will be starting a dialogue between women aged 15-18 & 25-28, to investigate how our understanding of and attitudes towards gender and sexuality has been shaped through this decade.

Four informal evenings of entertainment, and a good spoonful of food for thought, at Theatre N16's hip new venue - The Styx Bar. Tickets are a tenner. Which for the breadth and depth of talent you'll be getting is a steal. Plus the cultural alturism of supporting 'up and coming artists' making new stuff.

On the Thursday (19th) we'll be joined by our friends 'Our Gay Maria...', a collective of establishment-questioning queers started by two little gay boys who bonded over their shared trauma caused by singing Ave Maria every day of their 14 years at Catholic School. Join the gang as they present some of the art, poetry, music, comedy, and (most importantly) DRAG that inspires them to be proud of their status as members of the LGBTQ+ community.
