KITTY CAT
Founder of Burncity Queenz (Melbourne’s first official Dancehall dance group), and Jungle City studios has been directing, managing, coordinating, choreographing, dancing, performing, and supporting countless creative projects, groups, events, and festivals for over a decade in her home town of Melbourne, Australia. She has travelled all around the world discovering different dance styles and ways of expression through movement, starting off in a variety of Hip Hop styles such as Poppin and Breaking, but it wasn’t until taking a Dancehall class in London that she knew she finally found her soul as a dancer.

Since then her passion and love for street dance culture has been her driving force and over the years has blessed her with the opportunity to work alongside amazing people and project. In 2014 Cat founded the first annual True Jamaican Dancehall tour – bringing Latonya Style (CEO of DanceJA) to Australia to deliver the first ever authentic Jamaican Dancehall workshops on our shores. In the same year her personal Dancehall dream came true when she finally took the journey to Jamaica and became the first Australian in history to enter the International Dancehall Queen competition.

Some highlights of her dance journey include;
- featuring in music videos by artists such as: Drumsound and Bassline Smith (while being 4 months pregnant); Yung Warriors; G-Star Boyz; and Stone Bwoy to name a few.
- Supporting legendary Dancehall and Afro-Beats artists including; Cecile, Demarco, Guppy Ranks, Leftside, Elephant Man, Beenie Man; Iyanya; Stone Bwoy; Junior Vohn; Naija Bad Girl Maheeda; Koredo Bello; and Bracket;
