Join Integrative Health & Wellness Coach and Forest Therapy Guide, Jenny Harrow, MA, for a four-part journey into the forests of Sonoma County at Sugarloaf State Park.

By combining the standard sequence of the mindfulness-oriented Forest Therapy walks with the powerful tools of cultivating self-compassion, vulnerability, and resiliency inspired by leaders in the fields of neuroscience and behavior change such as Brené Brown, Kristin Neff, and Kelly McGonigal, I will bring groups of ten women into the forests of Sonoma County to learn ways to not only manage stress and practice self-care but to feel more resilient and empowered to handle the fast-paced reality of living in 2018.

The themes and practices of each walk are designed for this to be a cohesive experience from start to finish, but attendees who are unable to commit to the entire series are welcome to join for individual walks as well. There is a 25% discount if you purchase all four walks in advance ($30 per forest therapy walk or $90 for the entire series)

All self-identified women are welcome. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you do not mind if they get dirty. Layers such as an extra sweater or jacket are recommended, as is a hat, sunscreen, plenty water, and a small snack to share. This is a three-hour experience that is not a strenuous hike but rather a slow, meditative walk that will include some solo time as well as group sharing and integration.

There is an $8 parking fee at Sugarloaf and carpooling is advised when possible. Once you enter the park, please make your way to the parking lot straight back from the entrance. There is a small white barn that we will meet at. Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration and settling in. To respect everyone's time, we will be starting the walk promptly at 9:30 am.
