April is National Donate Life Month and Summers County ARH Hospital is joining forces with Center for Organ Recovery and Education (CORE) and Donate Life West Virginia to host a special flag raising ceremony and celebration. The public is welcome to be part of this inspirational and informational event to celebrate and recognize the importance of organ and tissue donation.

The flag-raising will honor the Gift of Life and include a prayer, remarks from the hospital's CEO, expressions of thanks from local recipients, and CORE's Sarah Clemente will be speaking to the importance of Donate Life month.

National Donate Life Month is a time to focus national and local attention on every individual’s power to make LIFE possible by registering his or her decision to be a potential organ and tissue donor, and learning more about living donation. https://www.donatelife.net/ndlm/
