Letters to Prisoners

Get Directions

#var:page_name# cover

Superior Save the Kids organizes twice montly meetings to be in solidarity with people behind bars. No experience necessary! Bring your questions and a pen. Look for us in the main part of the library, past the atrium to the tables in the back.

Why Letters to Prisoners? Writing letters puts us in touch with mass incarceration and what it means rather than allowing us to look away from the system which is built on racial and economic injustice. Writing letters is a political act of solidarity rather than one of charity. It is one part of Save the Kids larger work of ending the school to prison pipeline, and a part of the larger work of movement building. But again, no prior experience necessary!

Happening twice a month:
every second Tuesday at 7:00 pm and
