This workshop is open to First Responders (active/retired police, fire, EMS, and dispatch) as well as family members of First Responders (the First Responder doesn't have to attend).
Yoga Nidra is a relaxing guided meditation that has been shown to improve sleep, manage stress, and reduce anxiety -- all of which are MUCH needed for First Responders and their family! Because there is no movement involved in yoga nidra, this workshop is also perfect for beginners and those taking care of injured or aching body parts.
Consider bringing a pillow, eye pillow/hand towel to cover the eyes, or other items that will aide you in being comfortable. A limited number of bolsters, blankets, and mats will be available for your use.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat, if you have one (there are a limited number of spare mats at the studio).
