Progressing through a series of skill stations, students will receive hands on instruction in forcible entry, ladder work, moving downed firefighters and lifting and stabilization. After completing the skills stations students will put their training to use during a series of RIT scenarios. The scenarios will be designed to emphasize the importance of mastering the above techniques.
Intuitively knowing what to do on a fire scene comes from training. Lots of training. Our Truck Company Tactics Class teaches critical response techniques in a variety of scenarios to keep you sharp when it really matters. Training is led by Brian McNulty, a state-certified instructor who teaches Hands-On Training at FDIC, at the State of Wisconsin’s REACT Center, and at the Milwaukee Fire Department’s Training Academy.
