Our Buddy Volunteer Programme provides an opportunity for volunteers to support other volunteers with additional needs. These additional needs might be a learning disability, physical disability or mental health. Volunteers who have been trained to be a Buddy are then equipped to provide friendly support to these volunteers who might not otherwise be able to come to the farm.

If you are interested in engaging with the joys of horticulture in a more supportive capacity, check out more information about our Buddy Programme on our website:

As a Buddy you can volunteer on a Wednesday or Saturday, and we expect a minimum commitment of volunteering once a month.

We are running two training sessions in April, the first one will be on Thursday 5th April, the second on Saturday 28th April. Both these sessions will be in the afternoon and take place on the farm. If you would like to express interest in attending either of these trainings, please fill in an application form: https://bit.ly/2GDdBea

For any questions, more info or general comms, please feel free to contact Sonia, our Community Engagement Coordinator. Her email is sonia@suttoncommunityfarm.org.uk
